The Cleveland Quest Scavenger Hunt
See the best of downtown Cleveland…
…on a whirlwind scavenger hunt in and around Public Square. But if you think this is going to be like an ordinary scavenger hunt, think again. To win this game, you’ll have to follow clues to fascinating places in the city and collaborate with your team to answer tricky, humorous questions about the cool stuff you discover. You’ll also need to find and create unusual items, take creative photos, and locate the Hunt Host to complete a bonus challenge.
You might answer such questions as…
- On Superior Avenue, near East 3rd Street, find a scantily clad man resting on a rail. You could say he’s particularly hot. What does he represent? Answer: In the statue of Commerce, the naked man represents Steam.
- Inside the Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Monument, find a group of 3D women who help a man take it lying down. Below stores, what two words sound like a website address? Answer: “Sanitary Com.,” written on a box in a large, dramatic war scene.
The questions are designed to be answered only when you’re standing in the right place, looking at the right thing. Follow our clever clues—and use your wits—and you’ll be all set. The game brings out the best in each team member, as well as the city, with challenges that will tickle your brain and your funny bone.
