The Babson Blitz Scavenger Hunt
Bond over Babson’s hidden wonders
Do you expect to spend hours in conference rooms at the Babson Executive Conference Center? Looking for a reason to stretch your legs and get some fresh air, as well as find a new way to get to know your colleagues? Then you need to schedule some time for this amusing and entertaining scavenger hunt at nearby Babson.
On teams, you’ll search for answers to tricky, humorous questions about what you find on the campus. We’ve done a lot of college hunts, and even we were surprised by how many cool, quirky, and unusual things there are to discover on the handsome Babson grounds.
This group activity is also great for Babson students, faculty, alums, and curious Wellesley locals looking for fascinating, hidden history in places you’d never expect.
Your team might discover…
- A direct descendant of Isaac Newton’s famed apple tree
- A chapel that seems ready to set sail
- Roger Babson’s startling stock-market prediction
- Unusual outdoor sculptures
- A cryptic totem pole
- A jinxed tennis court
- A heretic burned at the stake
- And one of the world’s largest globes
You’ll also stretch your creativity with Team Photo Challenges and meet the Hunt Host along the way for an unusual and amusing bonus challenge.
When we staged this hunt for a gathering of Omnicom’s top executives from around the world, the event was such a success that one participant said, “I wish we had done this when we first arrived so we got to know each other sooner.”
